upon further research many websites spell the original address of Stein's salon incorrectly - we assume only those who already know what this address is care that we have spelled it incorrectly - originally, I mispelled the address in an email to one of the editors of Binge Press - I only had two years of french in a high school that was mostly concerned with football and I believe my teacher actually only spoke German fluently - I don't know the rules - but one of the Binge editors knew - but then we went back and forth about how meaningful or nonmeaningful the typo was since none of us could find any information that confirmed that "fleures" is actually a word in any language - though someone somewhere is currently reading this thinking what dolts - of course it's a word and means ____ in ____ (and to you, madam or sir, our humble apologies and if you could email us to let us know what that meaning/language is, that would be lovely - fleures@bowlofmilk.com) - ah, well - we prefer the existential mystery - as you will see- as always - this is not a journal dedicated to scholarly Stein study but to the massive undercurrent of playful spirit that rides the woman's words - not exactly a tribute or homage - just a little effort - to remind us -

please read the 7 poets in this issue - there you will find the reason -
