Rhonda dean Robison is an English professor with a penchant for poetics, psychoanalytic theory, and film. She teaches courses at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Her poetry has been published in a variety of media, and she often collaborates and performs with other artists.

She is the editor of The Why and Later , an anthology of poems that women have written about rape and sexual assault (forthcoming from deep cleveland press in 2007). She has taught creative writing at George Washington University and will be an Arts Fellow at the Drisha Institute in New York City for the 2007-2008 academic year.
