Kristy Bowen's chapbook,   feign , was recently published by New Michigan Press.  "Rescind," "In the Bird Museum" and "Spoil" are all part of that collection.  She is also the author of the fever almanac (Ghost Road, 2006 )  and the forthcoming in the bird museum , due out from Dusie Press later this year. She lives in Chicago, where she edits the online litzine wicked alice and runs dancing girl press, devoted to publishing chapbooks by women authors.

Melissa DeGezelle is currently attending the MFA program at Brooklyn College. She is inspired by the idea of 'fitting in' but more so by the phrase " We are not response for any belongings, " which appears on the Chinatown bus she frequents from Philly to Brooklyn, and back again.

Rhonda dean Robison is an English professor with a penchant for poetics, psychoanalytic theory, and film. She teaches courses at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Her poetry has been published in a variety of media, and she often collaborates and performs with other artists.

Carly Sachs is the author of the steam sequence , which won the Washington Writers' Publishing House first book prize in 2006. She is the editor of The Why and Later , an anthology of poems that women have written about rape and sexual assault (forthcoming from deep cleveland press in 2007). She has taught creative writing at George Washington University and will be an Arts Fellow at the Drisha Institute in New York City for the 2007-2008 academic year.
